Trait Talk Poster

The TRAIT TALK poster is the creation of author N. L. Sharp and illustrator Robbie Short. It was developed to give students and teachers a simple catch phrase for each Trait that can be easily memorized and remembered. This poster may either be used to introduce The Six Traits of Writing or to reinforce the students' understanding of the Traits.

The back of the poster features a conversation with N. L. Sharp discussing how each of The Six Traits is reflected in her own writing. Sharp also provides teachers with a lesson plan for the retelling of a familiar story, a modeled writing activity that provides teachers the opportunity to demonstrate the integration of The Six Traits into the writing process.

TRAIT TALK measures 17" x 22", and is printed on 100# glossy stock paper. The poster sells for $5.99 for one, or $5.00 each when you purchase two or more posters, plus the cost of shipping and handling (and tax, if you live in Nebraska).
